Lagos Zoo celebrates birthday with Luna

The first pygmy hippo in the Algarve has survived the journey from Spain to Portugal and is easily arrived safely on Tuesday in Lagos Zoo.
Luna 2008 Born in Fuengirola near Malaga Biopark under the EEP breeding program for endangered species.
Next year, Luna also get company, because at the time but no males are available, they must first be satisfied with a friend.
The zoo has to Lagos 70 000 € a "European Association of Zoos and Aquariums' enclosure just completed, that the natural behavior of the animal is well adapted, and also provides ample space for future roommates.
On the occasion of 10. Anniversary of the zoo is Luna on Saturday 20. November are the big attraction of the birthday party.
To celebrate the day of admission is only 5 Euro and all invited guests and sponsors and visitors can look at the giant cake, Cocktails and enjoy a great program.
