Bicycle Race "Volta ao Algarve 2011" refers to 37. times instead

Every year the great Algarve tour will take place in professional cycling, this year from 16.-20. February.
160 Athletes 20 Teams, four of them Portuguese and 16 Foreign Teams, in this year will go to the start and at 5 Days around 700 Kilometers put on the bike. The organization is thrilled to run very pleased with the level of participation and large participation of international organizations.
In particular, the Algarve region promises to be a tourist destination, thereby better known and more attractive.
An 5 Days of competition will take place the different lengths of stages:
1.Day, 16. February: 1.Leg : Algarve Stadium (Park Cities, between Loulé and
Faro) to Albufeira (Camara Municipal, Town Hall)

2. Day, 17. February: 2. Leg: Lagoa (Exit towards Portimao) to Lagos (Beach
Porto do Mos)
186,5 km
3. Day, 18. February: 3. Leg: Tavira (Exit to Vila Real St. Antonio) until
Top of the bis Molhao (Loulé)
179,2 km
4. Day, 19. February: 4. Leg: Albufeira (Repsol Petrol Station, Repsol petrol station)
bis Tavira (By. Dr. Eduardo Mansinho)

5. Day, 20. February: 5. Leg: Lagoa (Exhibition Centre of Fatacil) bis Portimao (Zone
Riverside)

are going to start teams including Astana, Quickstep, Radio Shack, Rabobank, Team Sky, Garmin Cervelo, Caja Rural, Wave Boavista…
Last year was Alberto Contador of the Astana team as winner. Last but made the professional cyclist and Tour de France winner, however, more headlines by clenbuterol-Doping.
