Óbidos is the Christmas City

Portugal for a very unusual attraction is this year the medieval town of Obidos, the 80 Miles north of Lisbon,: She transforms herself from 10. December - 2. January 2011 in a beautifully illuminated with festive Christmas City Flair.
An ice skating rink, including bar, a toboggan run, the home of Father Christmas and a magical carousel are among the main attractions on the outskirts of the charming Christmas market.
Especially for children and families these days Óbidos offers a great program, both a children's musical and puppet theater, Christmas handicrafts and ensure pre-Christmas mood and Kurzweil.
Obidos is always worth a visit, But at this particular time around Christmas, the whitewashed houses in narrow streets draw, along the historic city walls with a very special charm
