Million passengers less abroad
2009: 3,2 Million passengers less abroad
Wiesbaden (ots) – 2009 undertook 67,2 Million passengers a
Journey abroad; these were 3,2 Million fewer passengers (-
4,5%) than a year ago. This decrease is more than twice as
high as the largest ever losing year 2002 (- 1,5 Million
Passengers), as the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) at the
International Tourism Fair (ITB) reported in Berlin.
On the Mediterranean islands, the most important tourist region in the
